Attention PAM26, PAM28 and PAM332 owners - how tough is the new DLC coating?
For those who own the Panerai PAM26, PAM28, and PAM332 - the 3 current Panerai's w/ the new DLC coating - have any of you scratched the DLC coating?
Many have said the past PVD coating used wasn't that tough.
What are your experiences with this DLC coating? How resilient is it?
Cheers,
Anthony

I think the issue is that the coating doesn't take too well to a sharp object like a screwdriver, anything that can cause a chip. I actually had the face of the watch rub across a couple of different hard surfaces with no damage. BTW, I did contact OP to ...

i got both 26K and 28L as well, seems to me that the 28L PVD coating is more shinny and better done on the 26K, but afterall, both 26K and 28L dont have any sign of wear after daily use (well.....i often wear them under the suit...so the watches shouldnt ...

is that the coating is standing up well after over a year. I have one dent, which has gone through to the steel, and a few tiny marks on the bezel, but generally very resistant. I've worn it everyday, still love this watch! Anyone know if it's possible to...
