Having a 26K...I have to say I lost any fear related with the coating
Im wearing my 26K in normal rotation with my other watches. I have to admit I was a little afraid when I got it. I always was thinking I would scratch the watch and so on. Not at all.
I see myself as a person who cares about his goods, but Im not crazy for that. I try not to scratch my watches...f.e. but If sometime I make a scratch, I dont get crazy. Its part of life.
Having said that, I have no signs of normal wear on my 26K. hairlines, and little scratches seems not to appear in the 26K as they do in SS cases.
I dont know how DLC would resist a strong impact...or if it would crack, but best I can say, is that Im not afraid anymore of using the watch in any occasion. No problems at all. Im very confident on the resistance of the coating.
Cheers!
Not too tough at all

Bezel was fine

i got both 26K and 28L as well, seems to me that the 28L PVD coating is more shinny and better done on the 26K, but afterall, both 26K and 28L dont have any sign of wear after daily use (well.....i often wear them under the suit...so the watches shouldnt ...

is that the coating is standing up well after over a year. I have one dent, which has gone through to the steel, and a few tiny marks on the bezel, but generally very resistant. I've worn it everyday, still love this watch! Anyone know if it's possible to...
