forget to mention that I have no issues with screws and lugs too
But again, I dont consider myself as a crazy guy....but I try to take care of certain issues IN ADAVANCE...and as I do make strap changes quite often, I just take some easy action with avery single PAM I own.
NO PROBLEM AT ALL with screws and lugs if you just "tape" them. Its not so hard task mates. I also do it with other watches....I also clean the threads each time I screw a new strap
To clean the threads I use this dental tool

And tape...makes things easier

Regarding the screws...just for your info, I was offered a set of them by the Boutique in Madrid,..and I refused, as mine were perfect.

I think the issue is that the coating doesn't take too well to a sharp object like a screwdriver, anything that can cause a chip. I actually had the face of the watch rub across a couple of different hard surfaces with no damage. BTW, I did contact OP to ...

i got both 26K and 28L as well, seems to me that the 28L PVD coating is more shinny and better done on the 26K, but afterall, both 26K and 28L dont have any sign of wear after daily use (well.....i often wear them under the suit...so the watches shouldnt ...
