The Rieussec is in my all time wish list
I love the date and gmt version but couldn't stand the thickness if the watch due to the rotor. I guess Mont Blanc feel is necessary to make it as an automatic.
The proportion of the manual version is perfect but I lost the date windows and the gmt function.
Until the skeleton came around I am just about given up hope because I can't stand the date on the manual version.
Now with a black dial it's perfect

It doesn't most often ruin the dial ( which is my main concern ), but it seems added to the dial. While, in this case, it is part of the dial; doesn't ruin anything, at the contrary, it enhances the beauty of the Watch, its coherence. A revelation for me....

I understand that the date window often destroys the aesthetics of the dial. IMHO, one of the most beautiful watch designs which fell to this trap was the Urban Jurgensen Perpetual. The way that the windows eat into the numerals...just can't get over it. ...
The Skeleton is a cool watch, for sure, but I still prefer the version I posted.
