I need the date function...
I understand that the date window often destroys the aesthetics of the dial.
IMHO, one of the most beautiful watch designs which fell to this trap was the Urban Jurgensen Perpetual. The way that the windows eat into the numerals...just can't get over it.

I still do not like the date window on the original Rieussec which displays more than one date..
I like the integration found on the skeletonized model like the one you have shown though.

It doesn't most often ruin the dial ( which is my main concern ), but it seems added to the dial. While, in this case, it is part of the dial; doesn't ruin anything, at the contrary, it enhances the beauty of the Watch, its coherence. A revelation for me....

The Skeleton is a cool watch, for sure, but I still prefer the version I posted.
