Thanks for your reply! For me the main issue and major reason for the frustration is the lack of information feedback. If anybody told me up front that it will take 8 weeks to repair the watch and they would give me some kind of information in between that would be really great.

Can you wind your alarm and then adjust the time by pulling the second crown and everything is still fine?
