Oh yes, I would be frustrated and I would chant in the desert too.
But we must be fair and tolerant. Let alone all the tests those watches must pass before going to their unknown destinations, all the tremendous handling our watches go through after departing their birth locations is at time mechanically challenging, not withstanding the amount of people touching those pieces before handing them to their final owners, and sometimes within minutes of owning them, some believe they do not need to get familiar with owner’s recommendations listed on the watch manual. It is sad but we must be or learn to tolerant.
What’s important is to choose watches that will be taken care of, for sure, by their producers, and Jaeger-LeCoultre does this to perfection.
So yes it is frustrating, and yes you are allowed to swear too, but those things happen with the best and the worst, here is with one of the best.
Good luck.
Like many have already written, problems can occur with any brand. It's not acceptable, but it's (unfortunately) life.
It's the way they're dealt with that matters.
Let's hope it returns quickly so you can get on with the enjoyment of wearing it.
You say the lume is poor? Under what circumstances? Initial brightness? Longevity? Any photos....(though photos are not very effective measures...)
before your trust is gone, it is only reasonable to allow JLC the opportunity to address the issue. It is also totally unreasonable to think that there can not be an issue with a mechanical device, especially when it is new. This is Earth not Utopia.

And I can tell you that she will do the best for your watch.

Ask Stephanie about your repair, she will get the information and keep you updated.
As for the price of a Titanium Bracelet for your NSA, it is around 1000 USD.
Best,
Nicolas
You're a fine gentleman with kind patience. It has been too long. I do not think you deserve such kind of poor service.
Stand-by you.
Wow, I hope you will never have to send a Vintage JLC to the Service Center, it will take 12 months!
Seriously, send a watch to AP, PP, VC, Breguet, UN and so on, and you will see how many months it will take...
8 weeks look reasonnable, in comparison.
Best,
Nicolas
) for a total control of your watch, and to solve the problem.I experienced the same problem - the Navy Seals watch stopped when operating the alarm.
The AD followed up - got the watch send through sevice. In all it took around 7 to 8 weeks - I am just glad it is back and now functions as it should and keeps good time
All in all a pleasant experience - and I would much prefer them to spend some extra days on the job and get it done properly that rushing things through.
It is a great watch and an every day joy to wear.
I appreciate your frustration. The AD kept me informed, but I have also learned from experience that service takes a long time and so does a repair - so I had no expectation of getting it done quicker than 8 weeks.
Now it is back and works flawlessly. It keeps excellent time and I use the alam on a regular basis. It works without any problems.
