One of my stolen watches resurfaced!

The one in question is the Tribute To Polaris 1965 in steel.
I owned the Prototype, one of the three existing. So you can imagine how happy I was and how sad I became after my burglary in 2011.
My Tribute to Polaris 1965:
Almost 8 years after, on a collectors market, someone put it for sale... I was immediately warned by some friends of mine, contacted the seller and told him that it was a stolen watch.
We agreed to meet, he showed me the watch, which was in poor condition, with my screen name removed.
The buyer was in total " bona fide ", as he bought it from someone well known, and sent it to the JLC center in Paris for a new plexy and set of hands, which is not the kind of behavior you have when you know that this is a stolen watch.
So we agreed to spit the loss in two. A gentleman, as we didn't have to discuss it a long time.
Now, this is his watch, and now, he has the full set, the box the papers and the nos strap. And now he is the totally legitimate owner.
He thought about selling it, as nor him nor myself didn't want to keep a watch which was stolen, but the agreement we had plus the story behind this watch gave him the will to keep it.
Incredible...
Once again, from a sad story comes something positive.
Best,
Nicolas
