Yes we can consider that the Duometre a Quantieme Lunaire is an improvement from the Duometre a Chronographe in terms of precision.
In fact it is aimed at being an improvement on classical mechanical watches like a tourbillon, a constant force escapement, or a Fusee Chaine watch is.
Regarding the Duometre a Chronographe, the chronograph operation is supposed not to interfere with the precision of the watch, that's the principle of the watch.
Looked at from the logic of the Duometre a Quantieme Lunaire, the precision of the Duometre a Chronographe is altered not by the chronograph side of the watch, but by the time side!
Is it better than the Duometre a Chronographe, or is it the contrary? I don't know yet!
