JLC posted something interesting on its FB page
I know there has been discussion about this topic before, the relationship of JLC and AM and JLC's "history" of making automobile instruments. Today, JLC itself posted an interesting statement on its Official Facebook page:
"DID YOU KNOW? In the 20's, Jaeger-LeCoultre founded a small factory specialized in automobile instruments. Within a few years, a large number of luxury and race cars were equipped with Jaeger instruments. Among them were... Aston Martin cars."

At any rate, IMHO this history helps to strengthen the basis for the co-branding between the two companies and contyributes to the integrity of the AMVOX line of watches.

The Tribute to Geophysic - even if available to the wealthy customer - has a lot of a prototype to me. It absolutely does not hurt if some of its design elements find their way into a somewhat less radical model and thereby create a sense of family bounds...

It is difficult to beat such a concept...IMO. Introducing another Chrono just after the A II is not an esay thing, as everybody is tempted to compare it to the Sister. I guess we need time to get used to the presence of these pushers...Which is weird, at ...

The DBS is an Amvox II. Some love it, others not. As for the Amvox III, it is exactly the same. It is all a matter of taste, and regarding this matter, this is really subjective. I think the Amvox V needs a bit of time to be fully appreciated...or hated. ...
