Strap and case is. I like the idea of a fully luminous dial face place. That said this seems like another example of a solution looking for a problem.

but I see ABSOLUTELY no point in this, other that for IWC to be able to say "look what we did".

I don’t like luminova on hands so you can imagine how ugly this childish toy looks to me. 🤮

As I mentioned in past posts I used to love IWC. It was aspirational for me. In fact the first watch I bought when I finished med school was a big pilot. But then something changed and it became a gimmick. I still love vintage IWC. But the current models ... 

Totally betraying IWC's heritage. Very odd that they would make a bright luminous pilot/military watch where stealth would be very important..

Whatever it takes to keep the cool brands going…so long as there is something for all of us…they have so many conservative, beautiful watches, including my 5002…why not?
