What are competitors / better value pieces in this segment?
I can't think of many ... I am also not defending the price increases by independents across the board. But RG micro rotor is right now way more expensive, the Gronefeld's principia had also been creeping up (not to mention the infinite wait list). I just view this as an industry wide short sightedness rather than one specific to LF.
Regarding reliability - I also have some data points based on conversations with collectors. Yes, in the early days there where issues. But let's not forget that 50% of FP Journe early automatics didn't work. I think recent LF models are very unlikely to have issues.

Simply because the Galet case is smaller than the Square, and more classic. The Autumn dial is amazing, not the best to read, but stunning looking. GEO
