Hi Christian

I personally prefer the square model because after having tried both the round and square versions, I can safely say that the square version fits the wrist better even though it has a diameter of 41mm compared to the round case which has a diameter of 40mm.  It is all about the case shape and lugs.

50k is not a lot of money for a steel automatic watch - and arguably for one of the best automatics in the market together with the Gronefeld Principa.  I am waiting for another five years to receive my steel Frodsham which is a manual winding watch costing at least 50% more than a Laurent Ferrier.

I cannot comment on ownership as I have never owned a Laurent Ferrier but if I were to own one, it would the square case with the salmon dial as in your photos.
