Nice dilemma
1. the square. Much more special and will stand out in any collection. Love the case shape.
2. I can sympathize. 50k usd/eur for a time only steel watch is a lot of money. But it all depends on how much value you place on movement finishing as the micro-rotor is probably the best under 50k bar none. But: this kind of money will also buy you a Patek 5235, 5960P, Moser Perpetual, a Lange Annual or, for something completely different, a VC 1955 CDV chrono. You’ll have to compromise on movement finishing but you will get some really nice complications and precious metal (except for the VC, which in pink gold is over budget). All in all, I would look at the entire package, the rest of my collection and decide.
3. Don’t know - i have looked at LF from afar but never handled one so take all of the above with a pinch of salt.

Simply because the Galet case is smaller than the Square, and more classic. The Autumn dial is amazing, not the best to read, but stunning looking. GEO
