well, mine stays in synch
at least to the precision you can see in a photo, or in a high-speed video - for about three weeks. I don't think this would be possible without the balances being synchronized. If it were off by a second in a day I would send it to be regulated and I am pretty sure this is not how it is meant to be. I now wear it for a work-week through to enjoy the synchronization effect and it has not failed me yet in that time frame.
I am less sure about the transmitting medium being air. I guess it could also be mechanical vibration, as in this metronome experiment

I don't know about miracles in the Resonance, but mine holds in sync (in terms of the seconds hand indicating the same seconds timing) for around a couple of weeks at a time, going out of sync when I stop wearing it and allowing the power reserve to drop....
