Love the dial. Personally I think the bracet takes away from the elegance of the watch somewhat though.

Asking for advice on the Laurent Ferrier Classic Origin for Revolution
By: joenghenry : December 6th, 2020-05:15
Dear All, I am thinking of getting my first LF/ independent haute horlogerie as this year's Christmas present for myself. The sector dial, grey tone, stainless steel case, tailor made luminous hands, manual winding and 80hrs power reserve all sing to me. ...
I hesitate like you on this.

Honestly I think there are better off the peg choices within the brand. Of course the LE nature of this may appeal - but LF are always doing specials..... Contact them and ask them to make you something - you may be pleasantly surprised. π R
I love this finish!

Frosted finish is at least as difficult - if not more - to apply than the usual cote de geneve / perlage. I also love the dial, I just bought the Octo Revolution but had I not I would seriously consider this LF... One thing you might want to consider: whi...

I bought the Classic Green in titanium

And the best priced watch of the entire LF current lineup normally has to come along with some shortages, somewhere. This time it is in the finishings. Honestly, I like the cooler and contemporary look of the frosted movement more. I have many watches wit...

I really prefer the ADM edition presented
By: Rascal : December 6th, 2020-07:09
Few weeks ago on purist, the dial works better, it is the micro rotor and bigger small second, but a better sector dial design in my opinion...

I like sector dials, but i find this particular LF sector dial somewhat flat (at least in this picture), especially in contrast to the high-character hands. And I agree that this manual wind movement isn't nearly as nice as the LF micro rotor movement. Th...
You mean this one Nico?
By: holdemchamp1225 : December 6th, 2020-10:20
Looks great and wears really comfortably IRL ...
I'd go with a used example of the Galet Micro Rotor instead
By: Tim_M : December 6th, 2020-10:09
The movement of this Rake/Revo is regrettably austere, and LF made no bones about the Origin being a decontented entry-level model when it arrived earlier this year. There are steel-cased Galet Micro Rotors available used for money similar to what Revolut...

Dear Henry, Laurent Ferrier has an authorized dealer in HK
By: chk : December 7th, 2020-06:47
In King Fook; it has a multi brand boutique that carries LF at Central Building, on Queen's Road, of Hong Kong Island. I suppose the dealer would be happy to mail the watch back to Switzerland for all service. If not, can let me know by pm and I will be h...
