Based on my long term enjoyment of this watch! The Chronoswiss Regulateur 122.
I bought this watch because Gert Lang was coming to my local watch store, and I thought it would be polite to wear one of his watches.
I never dreamed that watch makers came to stores all the time, and I’d be flat broke if I continued that practice … it was 20 years ago
I didn’t realize that Vianney would get so upset when I said I couldn’t buy a watch from every guy who came to town.
Luckily his lady calmed him down, my lady changed her mind,
and he autographed my book and watch papers
(it’s more or less true, I can’t be completely sure because as you can see from the photos, we might have had a beverage or two.)

After Chronoswiss was acquired by its current owner, it is never the same brand I knew 20+ years ago. The late Gerd-Rüdiger Lang really deserved more than what he has been recognised for!
