Honestly, after reading the back and forth my head hurts.

Edit: the back and forth I refer to is that on your now viral social media post.
I am for sure with you on the basic issue of being able to post what you want about your watch, which you paid for. If that’s positive or negative surely there is no censorship on your opinion on your own social media or in this specific case on your objective assessment of the QC issue.
I generally assume that peoples intentions start from a good place. With that in mind I have to believe that Ming did not intend to come across as they did. That said, I think they should have recognized quickly the direction the conversation was going and corrected course quickly.
The original issue seems like a major mess up, but not something which cannot be easily fixed. (I think I saw you said this yourself). And while it’s disappointing for owners I think we could all acknowledge that sometimes things get messed up.
If the company got ahead of this it could have been a really great positive for them and have ultimately generated goodwill.
Unfortunately it went the other way.
I hope your head didn’t explode in the last few days as it definitely seemed like the hottest watch topic of the last several months !
