I went with the black dial and I'm quite happy with it in the flesh. Thankfully, not alignment issues with mine, though there is a little play with the hour hand. I found it took a bit of fiddling to get the alignment right, and it's been fine every since. Happy to hear he's taking care of folks with issues.

I have heard of a number of reliability issues with their watches. What I feel is not quite right is that the customer is expected to pay for the freight back to MIng while the watch is still under warranty.

That is a much needed improvement in customer service
but which should have been thought of about since the inception of the brand since the reputation of poor customer service tends to stick with a brand longer than most things. I hope you get your watch repaired soon and to your satisfaction.

The hour and minute hand aren't quite aligned
So, at 6:00, the hour hand isn't quite pointing at 6. This was pointed out on IG and Ming Thien didn't handle the customer service experience as well as could be hoped.

I was on the fence about ordering one of their pieces because I had heard of quality issues
But their handling of this fiasco was the nail in the coffin.

Customer service issues aside, the fact is that the alignment issue can be fixed.

Seems like a recipe for certain failure unless he gets someone to run the business that has some actual business acumen. Hope this affects his business negatively, probably the only way he will change his mindset and ways
