Rolex for example is not something that you can save for anymore. I mean you can but there will be none to be had.. it has loosely become sort of an application piece.

Sure you can buy pre owned over list yeah but then what if you want that boutique experience to commemorate something special? What if it’s your first Rolex?

Of course there are other brands but then brands like Rolex scratch a particular itch and sometimes there is just no substitute..

On my end, I’d probably bite the bullet and buy a couple of pieces gray market and be done with it. The pieces that I like are pretty generic such that i always tell myself yeah maybe next year.. so now maybe never. Never a good idea to wait too long hahaha!
