...on what sort of regular day the lady would have. The Zenith you mentioned is a great piece and is something that I would think is comparable to all the other great manufactures. It probably won't be able to take a beating for a daily use watch though as it does attract scratches and nicks and dents show up fairly easily on the nicely polished case. My wife for example doesn't take her watch off throughout the day just so that it doesn't stop running (yes, they do think those things sometimes), and for her, the Omega Aqua Terra with the 8500 calibre does it's job really well. A robust and tough watch with a great movement to go with.

A lot of ladies like the JLC Reverso line as it can be both classy and stylish at the same time. There are a lot of models that are mechanical, so have a look at their offering. Otherwise, Cartier makes very elegant ladies watches too!
