Horological Meandering

Hi everybody, I have purchased 3 months ago a 5167A Aquanaut Patek and I am very happy about it... but I have decided that my wife should receive a mechanical watch as well... but... unfortunately my budget after this big buy is quite limited... Please do... 

It's known in the business that men will often buy mechanical watches for their wives, only to come exchange it for a quartz model soon after because his wife didn't want to deal with winding and setting the thing. But aside from that, it depends on what ... 

... to wind the watch for her. I've wound my wife's watch every morning for years. If it ever stops she'll probably think the battery is dead ... but unfortunately it might be me. :) A

. . . that's not going away anytime soon, and will be serviceable long into the future. A true manufacture movement, no less than your Patek. Another choice would be Omega's Constellation . . . . . . seen here in steel with a diamond bezel and gold accent...

And a beauty it is -- as well as serving well for both daytime and evening wear with its two sides. The only thing that she doesn't like is having to wind it -- so her daily wearer is a ladies' Blancpain, which has a splendid reduced size version of the X...

A lot of ladies like the JLC Reverso line as it can be both classy and stylish at the same time. There are a lot of models that are mechanical, so have a look at their offering. Otherwise, Cartier makes very elegant ladies watches too!
