VP, i'm surprised you didnt spot it straight away
you've got such an extensive collection of superb watches that i'm very surprised you didnt have doubts as soon as you touched it. even without spotting dial mistakes the weight and feel of the finish usually gives me warning signals.
or was this a red herring to see if we spotted it in a pic

that watch is a replica and not an authentic audemars piguet watch. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I am sure your friend had the best of intentions.

I guess its the intention that counts. The AP ROO is i think the most replicated watch ever. There is all kind of replicas out there, and some good ones. Add to that the zillion LE's there is, its a complete chaos. Wonder how u spotted its a fake. K.

The differences are the rubber material on the pusher and crown that seems to be off, the "AP" logo on the crown, and the date indicator that suppose to have white background. But again, its the intention that count, cheers!
