VPRegulator has a long-term collection of 'quality' watches so it is surprising that he/she did not spot this fake just by feel alone.
The consequence of this thread, irrespective of intention, is that the faking fakers now know what to "improve" for future fakes.
That is why we do not knowingly like threads about fakes.

that watch is a replica and not an authentic audemars piguet watch. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I am sure your friend had the best of intentions.

I guess its the intention that counts. The AP ROO is i think the most replicated watch ever. There is all kind of replicas out there, and some good ones. Add to that the zillion LE's there is, its a complete chaos. Wonder how u spotted its a fake. K.

The differences are the rubber material on the pusher and crown that seems to be off, the "AP" logo on the crown, and the date indicator that suppose to have white background. But again, its the intention that count, cheers!
