An old friend of mine gave me this for the New Year: Boy am I lucky?...  

that watch is a replica and not an authentic audemars piguet watch. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I am sure your friend had the best of intentions.

I guess its the intention that counts. The AP ROO is i think the most replicated watch ever. There is all kind of replicas out there, and some good ones. Add to that the zillion LE's there is, its a complete chaos. Wonder how u spotted its a fake. K.

The differences are the rubber material on the pusher and crown that seems to be off, the "AP" logo on the crown, and the date indicator that suppose to have white background. But again, its the intention that count, cheers!

afsg, It does help fakers to know what their deficiencirs are. Just looking at pictures is not enough as they need to know the important visual cues to copy. Of course, if they made everything 'perfect' as real pictures, there would be no need to get the ...
