Turn-offs and my turn-ons

 

Watches which look not like watches.
Known by the name time machines.
Odd pistons which is a miniature of a supercar engine.
Cost sometimes crazy amounts of money. Why should i pay for a thing that is more an advertorial?
The baddest silly peace, Breitling for Bentley.

Second turn-off. The watch is more over the top diamond jewelry.

Third turn-off. A watch that is over adventures, camouflage colors with very bright lume so it is un camouflaged.
Stupid crown guards and on every pusher an oversized guard.

Forth turn-off. It was a WS theme. Bracelets.
My skin hates it.

Turn-ons.
Watches that make me run to an AD for the watch rush.
A silver dial, timeless round case, eye blinking brand name and logo on the dial, fine quality leather strap, and hands which are formed like a god made them.
The Breguet Marine is such a watch.
And yes, the crown of Rolex.
So Thomas, thank you, i go to buy a Rolex.

A couple of small details that make me shy away from a watch, the crown not being at the 3 o'clock position, and round watches being "flat" between the lugs, similar to some Seikos. Small details I agree, but turn-offs to me. What are your particular turn...

I also refuse black dials. My reason, i had to much watches with it. To easy for the industrie to produce.

Such a basic design mistake, and still one sees that happen.

That is a much rarer occurrence in my experience, I have rarely come across watches with a genuinely too long minute hand.

You know what I mean: the watches that make you flick your wrist so that the hour and minute hand catch the light and you can then tell the time.
