Horological Meandering

A couple of small details that make me shy away from a watch, the crown not being at the 3 o'clock position, and round watches being "flat" between the lugs, similar to some Seikos. Small details I agree, but turn-offs to me. What are your particular turn... 

Watches which look not like watches. Known by the name time machines. Odd pistons which is a miniature of a supercar engine. Cost sometimes crazy amounts of money. Why should i pay for a thing that is more an advertorial? The baddest silly peace, Breitlin... 

Dateless black dials... YMMV 😊 .

I also refuse black dials. My reason, i had to much watches with it. To easy for the industrie to produce.

Such a basic design mistake, and still one sees that happen.

: ) Seriously, most are related to legibility and type/kerning issues.

You know what I mean: the watches that make you flick your wrist so that the hour and minute hand catch the light and you can then tell the time.

Date wheel colour that does not match the dial: such a basic design error. "Automatic" on the dial and all other unnecessary words. There is always the case back for words if the wearer forgets! Screw down-crown where WR less than 5 bar. Screw-down crown ...
