Horological Meandering

The vast majority of the time, I select my watch based upon the clothing I am wearing. In other words, I get dressed first, without regard to what watch I will wear, then select a watch to match my clothing. However, occasionally, before I select my daily...  

All too frequently I will choose my shoes and belt according to the watch that I intend to wear, and subsequently my clothes based on my watch/shoes/belt choices. Oh well, they say admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery! You are not al... 

This phase is behind me now. I actually get dressed and put the same watch on day after day and love my watch. It is possible, brother!

... i have a desire to wear this or that watch, and i match my cloth according. Now the problem, is that sometimes, in the process, i realize that the combo with shoes and belt, shirts, jackets,... works better with another watch ...lol.... usually, its e... 

i'll wear a Freak with jeans and T shirt, a scratched and battered Speedmaster with a jacket and tie. as i rarely wear anything other than Jeans and T shirts it seems all my watches suit that type of clothing whether they are gold, steel or plastic. my na... 

Ahh, I must admit that I to...have this problem. My dilemma is that I have an ever expanding collection of fine watches. But my work requires a bit of elbow grease so i am normally confined to my "watch that started it all" an Omega during the work week. ... 

I an also an addict even though my collection is just starting and my pockets are not as deep as most other members here ;D However, my fashion sense is no match to you guys. I could wear a dressy watch (RG Langematik) on a weekend during the day wearing ... 

I have three wedding bands to match the watches. My platinum wedding set goes with most of the watches, my late mother in law's pink gold band for the RG ones, and recently I went out an bought a plain yellow gold band to match the yellow gold (vintage) o...
