Horological Meandering

Now, that is the holy quest, Andrew...

Adding, or better said, building a collection, is a fascinating thing.

Reducing a collection to the essential is as fascinating, IMO, than building a collection.

It obliges you to re think it all, to go to the Essential.

In this case, taking one among all the complications, like a GMT, an Alarm, a World Time, a Chronograph, a Minute Repeater, an 8 Days Power Reserve, a Perpetual Calendar, a Chronometer, a time only, a Tourbillon, is a very attractive solution.

Now, even more difficult is keeping only one.

That is what I call the holy quest.

Something irrealistic, but so tempting, at the same time.

In my case, this watch doesn't exist, yet.

It would be a Water Resistant To 100 meters, Alarm, GMT watch.

A watch I could bring with me in any part of the world, I would wear in any occasion, for all the styles of my life.

But, on another side, I perfectly understand that this passion may be tiring, and that reducing / summing to only one watch is a tempting exercize.

Best,

Nicolas
