If what happens around a brand or what others think influences you than you’ll never find “your”watch.

How about...?

Works well for me - I have it on leather but can easily be switched to a bracelet. But not as versatile as the GMT Master 2! ...

I have a feeling that a bracelet for the 17 06 (non-Monolith) will appear this year. Or else the 17.03 is not hard to find, used, and the bracelet for the 03 is still on sale on the Ming website. ...
I get this feeling you'll end up with a GMT2 anyway..

If I really needed a GMT, I'd look for one that's nice to use like a UN for example or a straightforward Reverso Duo (which unfortunately doesn't have a rubber or bracelet option). But if it's just a simple home time affair and taking into account your cr...

Grand Seiko GMT - available in several dial and case styles on bracelet or strap. Obscure but nifty — Ikepod by Marc Newsome who styled the Apple Watch. Separately adjustable hours and minutes using only the crown on both main dial and subdial at 12 plus ...
Rolex GMT or Explorer?
By: Fastwong : January 20th, 2020-23:54
Given your criteria sounds like a new strap/bracelet for the JLC or just track down a Rolex GMT is the way to go in that size range. If I had to get a travel watch now a 42mm Explorer would be top of my list because I like the bigger everything (except he...

Barely any water resistance, no lume, but 40mm and beautiful. My travel watch is a Blancpain 500 Fathoms GMT (pics a few posts down) which his all my criteria but it's yuge - 48mm and tall but so effective and beautiful so you have something to admire whi...
You should have a look at Grand Seiko.

They have quite a few GMT watches in their portfolio and are, from a quality point of view,at least on the same level as Rolex.
A reason to share my thoughts...

I’ve had this exact model since it was first released in 2008. It works perfectly with a suit and on weekend camping trips. I regularly use the 24 hour bezel to time conference calls around the world. This watch didn’t miss a beat after a 4’ drop on a til...
500 Fathoms GMT is my go to travel watch!
By: Fastwong : January 21st, 2020-21:02
It is 48mm though, so not small but high visibility, bright lume, big crown, tough movement, perfect when still half asleep coming off a red-eye and ready to go anywhere. ...

...but they tend to be on the thicker side, unfortunately. But if you're prepared to consider quartz, the ones based on the 9F movement are fantastic. Otherwise, I'd get a Rolex Explorer II 16570 in very good condition. It's been my go-to GMT watch for th...
