I've never really had a burning desire to own any gold watch.

There have been a couple of watches I've wanted that only came in white gold but generally I'm fine with SS.
That being said I've never been corporate or existed in that space, and have always been self employed and informally dressed.

Gold is expensive, it does however make for a beautiful watch. Rolex, AP, GP, PP, JLC the list goes on and on make gold watches, all quite costly. Would you buy a gold watch from lets call them a "mass producer" of watches who sells less expensive watches...
Personally I would not buy "something" simply to have "it".

Currently only have one white gold watch which I was fine with because it was more then the material. All my other watch are SS.
