I love ivory/off white as it has warmth in it.
It depends on the watch and the overall look and dial indices etc,
for example,
The EXP II ivory is lovely, and I'd take it any day over white
But I don't see myself preferring ivory over white zenith Daytona.

I feel drawn to off white dials - particularly more so than silver dials. They have such a warmth to them! I gravitated towards the eggshell Heuer Carrera 3647S for this exact reason. Looking good for 60! ...

but my BP Leman’s dial often appears off-white in certain light conditions which pairs nicely with the red gold case ...

i was at a watch event 3 weeks ago with a vintage dealer who was selling one of these amongst about 20 other specimens. the dial and hands were pristine; the case was clearly re-polished. can you guess what he was asking for it? $30K USD. He had no takers...
