Horological Meandering

I am really sorry

but I too cannot remember what number my Harrods watch was. This is the price of having owned far too many watches! smile I bought the 3923 from the Patek boutique in Harrods(in fact I had bought the first watch they ever sold - a Pagoda on 1 December 1997!) Such a pity that boutique is no more.
I have only come across the above Daytona on one occasion due to the obvious popularity of the stainless steel models. I have recently sold my 5131R as it was a little too large for me even though I must acknowledge the beauty of the enamel dial. Wearability for me is the most important factor when buying a watch. Your recommendation of the Sympathique by Roger Dubuis is good if one can find one. Did they produce it in 27 or 28 pieces? I know it is one or the other. I wish the brand continued to produce small classic looking watches instead of its current horrendous creations smile
