Interesting....
that I have tried on the Patek 5712 nautilus as I like the complications in it but the watch looked awkward in my eyes on my wrist. Perhaps it was the shape of the case, perhaps it was the bracelet. It is also quite interesting that a steel Daytona with a bracelet does not suit me while this rose gold Daytona with a leather strap does. And possibly because there is quite a lot happening on the dial of the Daytona that it does not appear too large at 40mm. Maybe it is the lugs too
Thanks Mike for your vote!

I love sushi Alex!! Thanks for your choice. I actually asked three of my friends and the Rolex received two votes and the Jaeger one. But they are non watch collectors so I am wondering if the experts have a different view
I have Alex!

And I tried very hard to like it but I think I have a mental block when it comes to watches with bracelets! That is the only way I can explain how a leather strap on a rose gold Daytona can win my heart

Sorry to hear about your Lange experience. The JLC is the smaller WG one from 15 years ago. It doesn't really wrap around the wrist, naturally depending on size, as well as say the Calatravas. But the Rolex would be worse!!! Best, Horo
Thanks for the heads up!

but I need to try on a 42mm long Jaeger to see how the watch fits on my wrist. I realise it is the 'smaller' one from 15 years ago but 'smaller' might still be too large for me because I have never been comfortable with any of the previous complicated Rev...

I was wondering who be the first to notice this of the Patek and you are! I share similar sentiments. I see it as a classic and in many ways the safe bet among the three watches. Perhaps a little plain and conservative but I love it for precisely those re...
I agree keks!

All three watches are winners in their own right. I have tried the oyster flex bracelet but still prefer the leather strap. As you say, it is down to one's lifestyle and as sporty as I am, I would never a watch while playing squash or swimming. I would on...
I am really sorry

but I too cannot remember what number my Harrods watch was. This is the price of having owned far too many watches! I bought the 3923 from the Patek boutique in Harrods(in fact I had bought the first watch they ever sold - a Pagoda on 1 December 1997!) Su...

I will vote for the Reverso or the Patek. Definitely not the Rolex. Since you are newly retired, your time will be spent with new orders You will want something for you to reflect on. Both the Reverso and the Patek is a good choice, depending if you want ...
