I am not yet familiar with the threads you refer to. But I will state this -
Sadly, we have a good handful of members who enjoy negativity. They find pleasure in making smart-ass remarks and being overly cynical. It never used to be like that in the old days, and it is the one part of this community I don't care for. Fortunately, the good far outweigh the bad.
We have never been about censorship. Again, I have not read the specific threads you refer to, but also keep in mind sometimes things go back much farther than just one thread. Being a Mod is not as easy as it might seem. Think back to all the recent threads on the CODE11.59. I did not edit, lock, or delete any remarks. Probably 90% negative, and that is perfectly fine. Not my job to protect AP or any other brand. But when I read something so asinine from a jackass member saying Francois Bennahmias should resign over this new collection being released, are you kidding me? That it ludicrous. Did an educated man or woman really write that? Maybe a schoolkid? Who knows. I choose to find humor in such a poster revealing their true self. "Consider the source" - one of my Dad's best expressions. Quite applicable in this day and age.
