Hahaha. Are you a psychologist or a poker player or something?
Your email summarizes the roller coaster journey I've been on. Yes, the VC and the Rolex are ahead of the others for me. Some days the VC is clearly ahead. Other days, it's the Rolex.
The GO was an alternative I put on the list because I was intrigued but maybe not exactly blown away. I love the PP's but miss the GMT function (I wonder if they'll ever do a version of it).
I agree with your assessments of both the VC and the Rolex, and I am excited by both of them. I guess the main thing holding the VC back for me is my lack of experience regarding its sturdiness. This maybe related to the comment people make that if you want a sporty watch, don't buy a PP or a VC. This is also what makes the Rolex attractive. It is a real tool watch and its innovations like the use of 904L steel just give me a lot of comfort and confidence that it is a watch that can serve me for a long time.
Do you have any experience or info with the Overseas with respect to its overall sturdiness and its resistance to dings and scratches? I guess if I can get comfortable with it, then I just might pick the VC. If not, then for now at least, the Rolex might squeeze ahead.
Thanks for the input.
