Horological Meandering

Evil mind game.........

First of all, my friend - your "Ocean's eleven" are marvelous!

Second, (since I know many of the other watches you have) how where you able to select these?!

smile

Yes, we have discussed this a lot. Don't know if you ever noticed, but for me - this is a very theoretical mind game. Nothing I am seriously thinking about to do.

To make a serious cleaning in the box, yes - eventually I will be forced to do so... But, I am thinking more in the line of a dozen Memovox, a dozen Reverso, a dozen other JLC, a dozen ....

NO, seriously - I would be in BIG trouble!

1. I have not inheritet any watch, so I can't "hide" away any except maybe my very first real watch (Rolex SD).

2. Only to cover the biggest names within JLC (DSA, Polaris, Geophysic, Reverso) would cover minimum 8 slots.

3. With 4 slots left, how would I be able to cover all other brands? Only with the small non-JLC I have today this would be hard. And don't mention like Nicolas said - what you would be able to get if you sold all others.

Rolex, at least one for sure. Zenith, how to find another manual S. 58 with that kind of dial? Keeper. IWC, the Ingenieur would stay (and I do hunt one more IWC). Omega SM 300 Lollipop, let that one go...? Impossible.

And... STOP - that was 12 already!

Yes, I would be in BIG trouble...

sad

An Evil mind game......... That was it is!

Just look at the Funky Memovox post me and HS are rolling in the JLC forum right now. For me that is 14 watches of which non would stay...

BUT, I do love them a lot and use them on regular basis...

Such a decision would drive me into wrap a room with plastic...!
