Horological Meandering

Well....

 

....i think it makes a big difference that at least three quarters of my watches are vintage. The fact that a vintage watch has been around for a long time means that there has also been a long time to work out what I like. It is also true that vintage doesn't suddenly get "released" so the new novelty effect is not there. Having said that, every now and then I do buy brand new watches and I guess that is why my collection just keeps edging higher in number. If it was a situation that unless I sold some watches already in my collection I could not get something new that i wanted, then in that case it really would boil down to which watch(es) I wanted most....
