Complications
I am a pretty simple guy and that is how I like my watches. I don't need a chronograph,
moon phase, tourbillon, thermometer, calculator, compass, leap year indicator etc.
I will take a nice time only, time and date and I do have a watch with 24 hour hand.
Nothing wrong with those complications, just not for me. Less cost for sevice and
less to go wrong too.

and I don't own watches with many complications especially perpetual calendar types. What influences my choices is simply if I like a watch design, and some may be chronographs (although I never use that function) but if I like the design I may buy it. 10...
I tend to feel the same way, Thomas.
But I have a manual wind Lemania-based chronograph (VC Cornes de Vache) and I have to say that nothing really beats the beauty of a great chronograph movement. It’s my only “complicated” watch, but I’m glad to have it. Best, Emmanuel ...
Huge fan of simple, time only watches…
But will enjoy a complication every now and again, even if I will hardly use it (looking at you, chronographs).
