Believe me, a safe in a bank limits your joy of wearing a different watch every day.
In fact, I started to think about it after my burglary.... A safe in the bank is mandatory, frequent visits at the bank are just boresome....
So you need to think it differently...
Even on Holdays, when I bring with me what... 20 / 30 watches, I don't feel the time and need to change every day, every hour....
So, at the end of 2 weeks, I didn't wear all the watches I brought with me....
As for Kari's preoccupation on serviicng his Watch in the very long term, that is a very good thing. And yes, his movements are quite simple to service, but just one question:
Are the screws of the movement in his watches polished? If yes, who will provide the screws? A service requires that you unscrew then re screw the screws....
Not any Watchmaker can do it carefully, and not any watchmaker has access to these ( if it is the case ) carefully polished screws....
I don't even mention De Béthune movements, which are as splendid as they are complex and original. I don't know who will service and repair them if the brand disappears....

The comparison between stocks and watch collecting is, hmmm, interesting and odd, in my view. As you pointed out, how many stocks should one "hold", that's right, one "holds" a stock or many for that matter but a watch? One doesn't "hold" a watch, no no. ...
