My friends kid is heading up the service department at a Porsche dealership and his budget for a watch is under 3K….what watch would you expect your service rep department head to wear…Oris? Sinn? I know PorscheDesign is an obvious go to… ...  

Doesn't have to be German nor even representative of the brand. Who knows, maybe he prefers an Apple Watch!

Frankly, I generally don't know enough about this fella to give him anything but a totally blind recommendation. With the suggestions you've mentioned, one can assume that you have in mind a German brand, the under 3K USD price limit, and something diver-...

I am not sure there is any new Heuer at less than 3K.

The green dial would definitely pop. But if i was a customer and i see this sinn on him, i might get the impression that he’s a no nonsense guy and that maybe he knows his sh*t

Hard to make a recommendation without knowing more about the person but considering the budget I suggest having a look at Guinand Uhren. They are a bit cheaper than Sinn but share the same attention to details. The Werksfahrer chrono is a real beauty, if ...

This is quite a hard statement to understand I would look pre-owned IWC Omega Tudor maybe even Montblanc for something sportier. What I do like is Porsche Design’s older more vintage looking watch on bracelet — befits the image but I suspect isn’t quite h...
