Get a life Ed... :)

Just kidding...I think it's great to have a passion and love. Otherwise, life is really meaningless. Wake up, eat, work, eat, work, home, TV/media, sleep....and then repeat. I looked at several different watch blogs every day, I must be worst

Definitely not obsessed!

I look at this site no fewer than five times daily and as many as twenty if I have posted something. It is just an addictive passion - very unhealthy for the wallet but otherwise it is fine as it brings so much joy!

Thank God I’m not alone

Now it’s safe to say I’m not the only “looney” having the same habit

I visit this site several times a day, too

Sometimes, it's as a distraction to the things I have to deal with in real life that I'd just like to put off for a little while. Sometimes, it's to research and get ideas about a new watch - when I feel I need a "hit" and I crave the short-term euphoria ...

Right on !!! [nt]

My only form of social media so i tend to look at this site quite a bit as it is a great forum.. I am obsessed with watches... i look at everybody's watch that passes me in the real world and i can sit at a jewelry store or boutique and look at watches fo...

I'm totally not obsessed...

 By: patrick_y : May 31st, 2020-11:03
"I can quit anytime" says the smoker who smokes two packs a day... In addition to watches, I've got other vices too... They're generally "mechanical" related. But if you really want to know about those you'll have to message or email me!

There is a totally different reason

 By: Jurry : May 31st, 2020-11:33
You don’t have to be obsessed with watches to look at this forum several times per day. There is another far better reason to look often. That is that this is so much more than just a place to look watches; this is a virtual community of like minded peopl...

Very well said. [nt]

I have no Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or snap chat account. And I have a strong personal and professional interest in watchmaking. But obsessivere? Depends who you ask.

Disagree with your premise, Ed. That we visit this site often . . .

 By: Dr No : May 31st, 2020-16:47
. . . is not because we're obsessed with watches. There are other websites dedicated to the same subject, yet our community is remarkably devoted. I think the main reason people are drawn here is that we're civil to a fault. The operating premise of The P...

100% agree

That’s what I meant in my post ad well except you’ve worded it more eloquently than I did (which could be native tongue or my military background or both haha) But I fully agree on all aspects mentioned

Ha! A philosophical question! 😊

I think that we make decisions with everything that we deal with intensively. Simply because we are less concerned with other things and therefore set priorities. For me, I am deeply fascinated about watches. But at least as important to me is the cultiva...

Mann I think I have problem as well.

I need to read watch industry news every night... and sometime this forum.
