Tried on 42 mm Laureato today. Blue dial is 42 mm. Silver dial is 38 mm. My wrist is 7 inches. Honest opinion, is the blue 42 mm too big for my wrist? Thanks for looking! ...
The 38 is the easier wearing watch
Very comfortable on my wrist . I always tend to go smaller than bigger. A watch that’s too big for my wrist looks like I’m trying too hard 😂

There is no question, the 42 mm makes a bolder statement and is the option with more wrist presence

I would go with the 42. The reason is that in my opinion it looks fine on your wrist and all things considered, the 42 looks a better balance. Hope this helps with your decision. Out of interest, what was your first impression, 38 or 42 ?

Is playing tricks. I have said this before … west a 42 mm for a few days and then try on a 38 mm and it will seems small. The opposite applies as well. Maybe don’t buy anything for now and just wear your 38 mm silver and have some quiet time with it?

I have a model in 42 mm and 2 models in 35, honestly it's just a matter of appreciation 🤷♂ I admit that the Laureato in 40 mm crossed my mind. The future will tell.

I could argue for both! In pictures I know the 42 might look bigger (I tried it too and took pictures of it and always found my picture gave an impression o bit different from the real life experience)…
I have the 38mm copper and I like it but in my case I I choose the dial color first . I love thé 38mm and may get a 42 at some point…

Presence on the wrist, just looks solid
There is a 38mm I like quite a bit but just can’t pull the trigger unfortunately because just looks too small
42 for your wrist size (and from what I can see) looks good.
But, for me the 38 looks more suave, and the the 38 proportions are much more appealing.
