Not a stupid question at all. Bamford has money. I’m sure they need to help foot the dev costs and such. Also commit to certain number of pieces. The Bamford Ghost laureato white ceramic did quite well on the market but only 88 pieces made in white cerami... 

I didn’t realize there had been a previous collaboration with Bamford. (That white ceramic Laureato, 38mm, is quite cool).

First they could have done it alone, I don't see what Bamford adds to the mix, no disrespect to them. Then sure it's an original reissue but the price is extravagant for what's on offer. I don't know, maybe the laureato anniversary will be more enticing.

Totally unnecessary. GP should have done this particular model alone.

20 years since we saw the last one made. Neo vintage 2499 with 180 pieces made in the silver dial. So it’s good to see cushion cases back in vogue. 🤝 ...  

Am afraid it’s way overpriced. There are much better options from Rolex (at least RRP), Omega and other brands at similar price point

Sub ND, Sub, etc. If it’s watches with similar features, JLC and IWC offer better value IMO

Those are closer to being competitors to this watch than the Submariner is.

Cool, funky vintage vibe. I would have done white lume in the hands to make it more legible. Also, the Bamford branding on the dial is a miss for me. Looking forward to the Laureato 50th. Thanks for sharing Marc

As I have already commented on the other post I won't repeat it all here suffice to say love the watch and the small details like the cross hatch crowns and emblem on the case back hate Bamford on the dial and IMHO the insane pricing. Hopefully a regular ... 

Whats the role of Bamford? The GP3300 movement is nothing new/exciting as well. A bit put off by the price but what do I know? At 350 units, it will probably move?

I’ve responded above about why Bamford. I too don’t see the immediate value add beyond financial. Will the 350 units move … ? I really don’t know. I’m not into diving watches myself so I won’t be a buyer. I continue to focus on neo-vintage. 🤝 ... 

The price is not a surprise to me. Look at what happens to GP prices in the secondary market after it’s been out for a year or two. Will be available for 40-50% off MSRP in the future. This is the same thing that happened to Laureato pricing in the second... 

Hi Jesse, First of all, neo vintage prices are holding or going up. They can’t make more. Next, the bamford laureato ghost is next to impossible to find and the prices are high. Higher than what they were sold at. So it depends. Rarity play a big part in ...

I think the most important thing to wrap your mind around is this … the drastic drop in production pieces is because of bundling. This is the root of all evil. Any production GP is likely to get bundled. If you get that first point. The next point is the ...
