My input. (partly a repeat of what we discussed via pm...)

I think for the aesthetics, in real life, the Au comes out as the winner. It is really an unusual appearance and a very pleasant subdued, whitish shine.
I also think, it is much more interesting from a collection POV. It is (as far as I know) the first watch made out of an uncoated aluminum alloy.
Regarding the discoloring - this has been verified by the French boutique manager and by a technical staff at the manufacture and given as reason for changing the case and bracelet to titanium. The movement is still made by the same aluminum alloy. The discoloring is mainly yellow stains and in some cases white oxidation. It is not possible to get rid of these stains.
An other factor to consider, if you jump on one of these, is that Au parts was only made for a relatively short run (I remember it as a couple of years). Eventually spare parts will run out.
My own thoughts are as I said in the beginning, I prefer the Au, it would probably have to be worn more carefully/sparingly without too much sweat ect. If you buy it as a real user, in hot or humid climates, perhaps you would be better off with a Ti.
