In fact I started on the old purists platform a few years earlier but the date was reset when we migrated to the new platform and I ended up changing my login.
I love your words of how our paths are different. To me its the key of this passion. Trying to put together a collection is an investigation of ourself, our ideas and taste. Its both exciting and enlightening.
As you know the whole hobby has changes so much. At times it can even feel confusing with the amount of material and "information" out there. (perhaps because) I "grew up" on this platform I feel the "Purists spirit" gave me some lasting values to navigate. We maintain integrity, civil discussion and thorough analysis. All produced by passionate collectors not socalled "professionals". I think its why Im still here after alle this time.
Sorry for the rant but your words just sparked my thoughts. Look forward to seeing you around.
