Hi All
I hope you enjoy the last set of pictures. To give the PAM 390 an even more historic look I decided to do a strap change. I guess this is where each watch has a chance to be personalized. This is one of the great advantages of the easy strap change and as your more changes so can your strap.
You can see the strap make the watch look like it has been owned for a while. Other than the lack of dings you could imagine this watch is already years old and the weathered strap has a story to tell. If you put your ear right up to it you will be amazed as to what might await you.
Please enjoy the photo essay.
The PAM 000 still remains the closest model so I continue to use it to provide contrast. Both have the same basic DNA. The brown dial, aged patina and gold hands give a distinctly vintage look.
The color makes it feel like it has been aged. Not artificially because as you can see it is rather subtle. Even the aged patina blends in nicely to the brown dial. Reminiscent of the highly sought after brown Rolex dial.
As you can see this is a really thick strap. Not to everyone's taste but the watch head has the presence to carry almost any thickness (I would not put a really thin one on). The crackled ammo strap make the watch look like it has lived a lifetime. When you get into the thick strap mode you are in sports mode and the military heritage shines.
Finally some wrist shots seem appropriate to wrap a bow on the presentation of this new release that is yet to explode on the market. As it has been noted the run is large enough for all collectors to get a shot at one you just need to be within striking distance of a Boutique. I have exhausted my photo skills so this should be the last of this series, enjoy.
Good luck hunting.
Bill
