372 and 000
Hi guys,
Hope you can humor me on this question as I do not own a PAM although it has always been on my radar regardless of the negative comments (too many limited eds, variants, etc).
So here it is. Before the advent of the 372, i hear people say that if you will only own one, to just get a PAM0 Base Logo. Then comes the 372 which, albeit 3 mm bigger and much more handsome imo, suddenly replaces the 0 as the one to get. Has the 0 been dethroned so to speak? I know there is no objective nor factual answer and might even border on being silly given that they are different watches.
When the 372 came out, i suddenly felt cold about the 0 even though i have doubts that my thin asian wrist can wear 47mm.

The closer you go to the original, the best, IMO.
And the 372 is in this case. The 000 is a cool Watch, but the 372 is an excellent one. Best, my friend. Nicolas

... if you are going to own only one Panerai, the PAM 312 is it. Sure, the 372 is nice but it is also gigantic. The 312 is a 44mm automatic with all in-house manufactured P.9000 movement. The 372 is massive at 47mm's with manual wind and all in-house P.30...
If I could only have 1, then yes my choice would be the PAM372
However, the PAM000 and the PAM372 are 2 totally different watches. At times, you'll feel like you want to wear the larger PAM372 and then somedays you'll miss the smaller PAM000, of which still is a very large watch for most people. I always want to swit...
