Hi guys, Hope you can humor me on this question as I do not own a PAM although it has always been on my radar regardless of the negative comments (too many limited eds, variants, etc). So here it is. Before the advent of the 372, i hear people say that if...

Both are cool watches. I've tried on a few PAMs over the last month trying to decide my first (and probably only) PAM. My wrist is 6.75" and the 372 appears to be somewhat of a monster on it. Between 45mm Radiomirs, 44mm Luminors and that one 47mm 372 whi... 

I know I'm strange bird but my answer to "if you will only own one get a PAM" is...get...249 ;) I know this doesn't help :) Between 372 and 0 I also feel that 372 dethroned other numbers :) Best Damjan

I found myself looking at exactly the same scenario. Panerai have something about them...it is not a watch that i could wear every day, but it is a watch that I need to wear SOME days. I took the decision that I needed just one Panerai. Now, your question... 

... if you are going to own only one Panerai, the PAM 312 is it. Sure, the 372 is nice but it is also gigantic. The 312 is a 44mm automatic with all in-house manufactured P.9000 movement. The 372 is massive at 47mm's with manual wind and all in-house P.30... 

However, the PAM000 and the PAM372 are 2 totally different watches. At times, you'll feel like you want to wear the larger PAM372 and then somedays you'll miss the smaller PAM000, of which still is a very large watch for most people. I always want to swit... 

could be the right choice for you. ...  

i just read through the other posts today (amazing, huh). i appreciate all the points. let me zero in on some... 1) size vs. look - very difficult as they are not apples to apples. the 44 wears very well on my wrist (i tried on a 000 years ago). But the 3...

Here are two pictures that can help you judge on the same wrist. I like them both but if you have to pick one you need to try them on and see which one fits you best. Two me the both represent the DNA of Panerai so the choice should be easy. Bill Panerai ...
