(Y)OUR favorite Nautilus
Dear fellow Purists,
After the release of the 5990A and the 5711R last year. My question is; did they live up to the expectations?
The year passed and most of us might have had the chance to get accustomed to the newcomers. Some of us were lucky enough to have them delivered. If that's not the case I bet many of us had the chance to admire them 'in the flesh' at a PP salon, shop or event, their AD or maybe a friend who owns it etc.. 
So here comes the question; What is your favorite Nautilus?
What about the classic 5711A?
Or is it the pure 5726A?
Is it the 5980A? Or is it the R, or AR version?
Or maybe the 5712? A, G or R?
or the rare 5711 in Platinum?
This may be a discussion topic we all talked about over and over again, but back then, there was no 5990 or 5711r yet.
The timing of this post is not entirely fortuitous. Tomorrow is my birthday and I decided it's time to get my favorite Nautilus.
Hopefully you guys like it as much as I do. But please don't hold back on your favorite and most importantly; why?

my favorite
if we can choice among the total production ideally my favorite is the 3700, 2nd the 3712 and 3rd 5712. practically the 5712 ranks 1st
I love the 5711/1A too E.

I went for the 5712A, just got mine before Christmas. I love it – so thin. Nautiluses are best in steel, the 5711A may be too simple, the 5980A may be too bulky for my wrist although it will still be one of my choices; but the 5712A is just right for me. ...

Did you keep the 5890R?
I love the R version too! But that's a tough call. Would I ever add an R and keep the A.... Good question. They are the same but so different. Honestly I couldn't give you an answer about that now. This option will be in my mind for a long long time ;-) M...
Kept R but not A
I wanted one in each metal and the thinner on bracelet. So decided to have 5712a/5980r as opposed to 5712r/5980a or which I find equally nice visually. If I was to add a Nautilus it would likely be a black or white dial piece ideally with a different move...
The R material from Patek is so delicate and discreet...

Great choice, I think that the 5980A is a Patek classic. Yours look mint - is it pre-owned or you managed to find a new one left at an AD? Best.
